The Story: From the Spotlight to Behind the Lens
My journey in photography and visual production began on the other side of the lens as an agency-signed model in New York City. For a young girl full of dreams, it was everything I could have imagined – and more!
Those years in NYC were unforgettable. I loved every second of it – the fast pace of the industry, racing to castings, collaborating with talented creatives, and stepping onto sets for brands I had only ever seen in magazines and department store displays, including Keratin Complex, Amika:, Redken, and many others. Every production introduced me to new photographers, stylists, makeup artists, creative directors, and clients, all working together to bring an idea to life.Â
As exciting as modeling was, I found myself increasingly interested by what was happening behind the camera. I watched photographers shape light, direct models, and transform simple moments into compelling images. I became captivated by the creative process – the technical precision, the storytelling, and the artistry that turned a vision into something unforgettable.Â
Eventually, stepping behind the camera became a natural next chapter.
